Week 4: Contrast

Contrast. In photography it means, "to show the relative difference between light and dark areas of a print or negative." Outside of photography it means, "a striking exhibition of unlikeness." In art, in general, it means, "the opposition or juxtaposition of different forms, lines, or colors in a work of art to intensify each elements properties and produce a more dynamic expressiveness."
